Gino grew up in Lima, Peru, and moved to the U.S. when he was 13 years old. After earning his degree from the University of San Diego in 2012, Gino returned to Peru and used his savings to kick off Tecla Labs. The agency crafted apps for renowned clients, including Mercedes Benz and Roche, tapping into the capabilities of cost-effective Peruvian developers. This savvy strategy caught the attention of U.S.-based companies. Spotting a broader potential, Gino shifted TECLA's direction to link Latin American tech experts with businesses in North America. Now, TECLA manages a thriving network of 20,000 Latin American software developers and has partnered with 243 companies globally.
