You will: Act as the network security subject matter expert on the team. Simplify our networks. We are using both Azure and AWS clouds as well as having a large on-premise footprint and would like to drastically cut down on the number of moving pieces. Establish managed detection and response (MDR) proposing and working with appropriate vendors such as AlertLogic and Crowdstrike. Develop and fine-tune security processes and procedures including network scanning and penetration testing. Actively detect and identify security weaknesses. Determine and execute remediation plans. Continually improve and automate our systems. Perform security incident analysis and recommend remediation steps. Contribute to disaster recovery planning. Prepare compliance documentation and assist with obtaining security accreditations and passing security audits. You have Experience managing secure IT environments. Experience with cloud services. Strong networking fundamentals. MS Windows Server administration experience. Experience with M365 and AAD. Last but not least, you are self-driven, well organized, curious, tenacious, and communicate effectively. You ask a lot of questions, dig deep, and come up with creative reliable solutions and execute repeatably with a great sense of ownership and accountability.
